Jan M. Haas

Jan began his career in higher education following twenty years as an executive in healthcare administration. Driven by a passion to take institutions to the next level, Jan transferred the diversified management expertise he gained leading several major medical centers to the Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration position at Cairn University in Philadelphia.

About Jan

During his 16 years at Cairn, Jan helped usher the school from a Bible college to full university status, expanding its offerings to become a leader in Christian higher education in the region. On top of overseeing a $30 million budget and the day-to-day operations of the University as CFO, Jan also taught several courses in organizational finance at Cairn’s School of Business. He also served the industry as a board member and chairman for the Association of Business Administrators of Christian Colleges (ABAAC), where he guided their growth and was a frequent presenter and contributor. In addition to the services listed above, Jan also assists CFO Colleague clients in the areas of accreditation, CFO mentoring, new program development analysis and consulting.
