A seasoned higher education finance leader, Matt brings more than 30 years of experience helping institutions navigate financial operations, strategic planning, and organizational change.   His extensive background spans accounting and financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash and investment management, internal controls, compliance, and long-range financial planning.  

During his tenure at Olivet Nazarene University, Matt progressed from Controller to Chief Accounting Officer and ultimately Vice President for Finance and CFO, giving him a practical understanding of the challenges facing higher education finance teams at every level. As a consultant, he partners with institutional leaders to stabilize financial operations, strengthen processes and controls, improve reporting, and build sustainable financial strategies that support institutional priorities.
