During his 16 years at Cairn, Jan helped usher the school from a Bible college to full university status, expanding its offerings to become a leader in Christian higher education in the region. On top of overseeing a $30 million budget and the day-to-day operations of the University as CFO, Jan also taught several courses in organizational finance at Cairn’s School of Business. He also served the industry as a board member and chairman for the Association of Business Administrators of Christian Colleges (ABAAC), where he guided their growth and was a frequent presenter and contributor. In addition to the services listed above, Jan also assists CFO Colleague clients in the areas of accreditation, CFO mentoring, new program development analysis and consulting.
