Kara brings a passion for private higher education to CFO Colleague. Her experiences include the Medical University of South Carolina, North Carolina Central University, and a variety of private institutions with significant needs. In her work as Controller at Johnson C. Smith University (NC), Kara completed numerous critical projects that ensured a thriving future.  Most recently, she has served as Chief Financial Officer for Colgate Rochester Crozier Divinity School (NY), providing needed guidance for a long established school of theorlogy during changing times.  Her nearly thirty-year year career provided the foundation for expertise in accounting, budgeting, process improvement, ERP structure and management, grant administration, and various operational audits.
